Trei narrowed his eyes at Karillian, for a moment back there he thought maybe he wouldn’t mind her as much once her brother was better. Guess her lovely personality is a full time thing, Trei though sarcastically. He looked them over, different looking now, though not much. He could still see their faces; the only thing that had changed was their hair really. He hoped it would last for them, if it didn’t they mind as well shoot themselves now. Trei looked over at the head guard and nodded at him. He indicated for the pair to enter, followed by the guards. He exchanged quite words with the captain to remain in the hall, he really didn’t feel the need for them being there but he knew arguing would only make everything take longer. He indicated for Lili to leave, there was no point for her stay now that guards were here. He thought that she might go hang out in the kitchen with the cooks. Thinking of this he beckoned for her to come to him, “Have the cooks make dinner for the three of us, it can be brought to my room. Thank you,” Trei said to her. She bowed and left for the kitchen. Trei looked once more over the guards, they stood in two rows on the side of the hall, giving him the standard salute, the arm is held out forward straight, with palm down, and fingers touching. He nodded towards them and beckoned for the Prince and Princess in disguise to follow him. He led them to his bedroom and sat down where he had been only moments before at the head of the table. He pushed his sketchbook and pencils to the corner of the table so they wouldn’t be in his way. “You can sit,” Trei indicated to any of the chairs at the table. “You look,” Trei paused, “different.” He smiled at this a little, it wasn’t particularly funny but the looks were. He had to say, they weren’t the best haircuts, but they would do. Trei didn’t wait for the girl to give some nasty retort and launched right into his idea, “I’m going on a trip with the young royals of Cancri,” Trei paused, and then added, “We’ll probably leave in a couple of days.” He looked at the pair of them, “I’m thinking we could smuggle you on board one of the ships. I believe our first stop is Xirra, which I don’t know if that’s where you’d like to be at the moment. If not you can always stay on until we get where ever you want to go, but, so you know, the longer aboard the bigger the likelihood of you getting caught.” Trei looked up at Zayde, “I can probably get the two of you some weapons if you need them, and food for when you get off of the ships. Probably whatever supplies you need, but I’m not even sure you would want to go, because it may be risky.” | |
