Bella and Avery looked to the shore, where the sound had come from. Gent stood clearly against the pale grains of sand that littered the shore, his earlier emotion vanished from his face. Atleast of what Bella could see. She looked back at Avery who looked to her, plugged his nose with his hand, and flipped over into the water. "Wow, great help you are" Bella called to him, them shrieked. "Avery!" she yelled, "yup," he said behind her, his personal smiling nearly blinding her. She glared, he'd tickled the bottome of her feet, her imense weak point. "I have to settle this. If I'm not back in ten, feel free to rescue me," Bella looked into Avery's glowing eyes. "What happens if it's the other way around?" he asked in mock innocence. Bella's eyes widened and she punched him as well as she could in water. "Oh...that was just so hard." he egged her on, but she didnt fall for it. "I'll be back in ten," Bella quickly caught a wave and surfed to Gent, rolling her shoulders and accidentaly cracking her back, making her wince. Cracking or snapping or popping made her cring, it was also her ultimate weakness. Gent glided through the water where Bella was to land, but she jumped off ten feet before and landed clumsily into the water, managing to get fiery salt water up her nose, making it burn. She surface holding her nose and her feet wrigling while she gasped at the pain. Gent caught her surfboard and swum to her. "It helps if you put your head down." he said, picking her up and lifting both of them onto Bella's surfboard, and tipping her head down. Gent laughed at her twitching feet as she dealt with the stinging, tiny, pain. "It hurts!" she complained, but sighed as the pain reduced to a minimal throbbing. She looked up at Gent, and he wrapped an arm around her. "I never got to ask, how're you feeling?" he struck up as tension relaxed, but Bella knew what he was hinting at. "Salt water helps, a lot, too bad it didnt work for you," She shot back, annoyed, but Gent shrugged it off. "I'm immune," he grinned and layed back on the surfboard, lacing his fingers behind his head. "Ofcourse," Bella rolled her eyes, and layed on Gent's forearm. He looked over at her, "you know we both have appointments today at six o'clock sharp, seperate of course, but none the less today," he unlaced one hand and stated twirling her hair. Bella's eyes filled with concern. "What appointments?" she faced Gent, enjoying the subtle warmth that came from him. "Just a fitting for my outfit, your dress, but I'd guess it's about five thirty. So we'd better get a move on," He added more hair to the amount he was twirling and Bella sighed, "I'll bet you're right on target. I'll go say bye, can you take my board?" Bella's question was rhetorical, but Gent nodded and pushed her into the cooling surf. She surfaced, but what was with the whole dunking, pushing, shoving under water thing? Gent cracked a smile and towed her surfboard to shore. Bella started swimming and watched as Avery surfed and tried to do a trick. She knew it was new cause it completely sucked. She swam up to her dad who was watching Avery as well and pulled herself up onto his fourteen foot surfboard. "Dad? I have to leave, I have a dress appointment no one cared to remind me about," Her dad didnt turn, but his eyes were locked on Avery, then winced as he slapped against the ocean when he fell from his board. "In everyone else's defence, you werent really around for them to remind," he kept his eyes on Avery as he tried the trick again,"He's never going to get that, is he?" Bella asked, watching Avery with avid interest now too. "No, he should stick to what he already knows," Marcelo laughed and a soft sigh escaped his lips. "Are you okay?" Bella asked, noticing. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just going to miss these moments, these memories." he looked down at Bella with slightly watery eyes. "I seems like I just taught you how to surf, now you're critiquing a great surfer, and before I know it, you'll be married. I have two weeks worth of this left, two weeks and then it'll all be gone. I wont have any more memories or times when it's a daddy-daughter moment.  You'll be gone, married, and then I'll have to take advantage of that little time before you have kids. Then you'll look on me as just another adult, and you'll be preoccupied with your own kids. My little girl with be all grown up and I'll miss her, miss her dearly no matter how close." His eyes started to water even more, and Bella looked up on her dad with watery eyes too. She clasped her father in a hug, squeezing him and feeling his own arms wrap around her. "Oh, daddy. I'll always be your little girl, and I'll always love you. It wont change, we'll always have moment like this. Even after I'm married, I'll always come back to you. And when I have a little girl, you can enjoy new moments like mine, or even with a little boy. The only difference is that they'll be grandkids, not kids, but they'll still laugh and love you like I do. And when you're old and wrinkled, we can go to the beach and just build a sand castle," Bella felt tears well up and threaten to flow, "or we can play a game of chess, maybe just sit in the garden or read in that dusty old library." Bella laughed and tears slid down her cheeks, she saw a drop roll down her own father's face. "But I'll always love, you no matter what. You're my dad, you'll always be my dad. And we'll always have memories together, to the end." Bella's eyes leaked tear after tear and sniffled, feeling a drop fall onto her neck from her father, "Oh, honey, you'll always be my little baby. I'll always love you no matter what. Before you were born, I never realized how much I could love somthing--anything! But you came along, and you made my world right. My little baby Bella. And if I told you a billion times I loved you, it would never ever be enough. You can never know how much I love my sweet baby girl" he looked down on his crying, only daughter with insatiable and inmense passion. "I love you sweetheart, honey, sweetie pie, cupcake, punkin, cocoa, baby," his voice cracked and the king choked. Bella hugged her father tighter, wishing she could never let go. She wanted the world to end, right now, with her in her father's arms. She almost didnt want to marry Gent, but that wasnt an option. Bella knew that in the deep down pit in her stomach, right next to how much she loved her father. After a second of silent tears and weeping, Bella looked up to her father with a sad smile on her face, "I love you so much, daddy," Bella's voice caught in her throat at the last word and loving tears dripped from her wet cheeks. Her father pressed his head on Bella's, "I love you that much... and more," he gulped and kissed his only daughter's soft brown hair with his lips. "Go say good-bye, your mother and I will go back in an hour." the king whispered, and smiled longingly and sadly at Bella. He forced himself to remove her from his hug and she smiled sweetly before letting go and swimming into the cold water. Marcelo sniffled and his eyes stopped tearing and resided at watery. He tried to stop the horrible tears that came from him, a man. But Marcelo was happy, he'd told his daughter he loved her as much as he could, since she'd never be able to understand how much he loved her. But the best thing, was that she loved him back.

Bella swam away, tears slowly stopping but still running down her cheeks as she left her father. She saw Avery fall again and laughed with a huge smile, "Avery!" she called, swimming to where he was pulling himself painfully back onto his board. "Yeah Bella?" He looked around until he located her swimming from behind him. She pulled herself onto the nose of his board and he helped hoist her up half of the way. "Just saying, I gotta, like, leave right now for a stupid appointment back at the palace...sorry," Bella smiled up at Avery who just smiled back. "Gotta do what you gotta do is the famous quote I like to use, cause I totally invented it." Avery's trade-mark smile showed up and he paddled the surfboard around. "One last go for today, sweetheart? Or did you not say bye to that pap of yours?" Bella grinned, "I guess I have room for one more ride with my best friend," Avery's smile widened and he and Bella both paddled as a wave approached. They quickly were taken and the familiar rush of wind whistled softly in the wind. Avery jumped up, wind whipping his carmel toned hair and Bella heard her own small pips of laughter escaping through her mouth spreading her joy. It was short lived though, and they both jumped off about ten feet from shore. Avery caught his board and Bella came up laughing. "Bye Avery!" Bella called happily and waved at her dad with a slightly sad air to it. She ran up to her mom, explained, and grabbed a towel and her coverup before departing to Gent. "Are you going to get cold? It's already cold enough and I'm dry unlike someone..." Gent gestured to her dripping body and she shrugged. He rolled his eyes and she pulled her cover-up on but looked to Gent pulling out a thicker riding coat. She laughed but slipped her arms into the slightly big sleeves and Gent helped her onto her white mount. "Thanks, a lot," Gent just smiled lazily and jumped onto his own bigger, brown and black horse. "Let's go," he suggested rather than commanding and steered his horse towards the cobble and dirt roads. "Sure,"
