Trei had flown around for awhile, but figured he had better go meet this Sunste that had the other two terrified. Upon dismounting in the pasture, he gave a rubdown to his winged horse and a good brushing through. Feeding the equine creature a couple of carrots he gave him a last pat and left the pasture. A skill Trei had picked up with his many horses atop the flying beasts was the ability to stay fairly clean. He stopped at his quarters to drop off his armor and change into a nicer tunic. He chose a finer, satin material in a simple white color, with delicate embroideries. Checking that his crown was straight in the mirror, he left in a hurry. He felt a little lucky not to run into the other two, he didn’t need to be held up now.

Once outside he glanced up into the sky, the sun was prominent as he liked it, but an outline of the moon remained in the sky. He guessed it to be about five in the afternoon, a regular dinner time when eating with his parents, but he usually dined in his quarters at seven or eight. He wasn't big on family socializing; he loved his parents but didn’t feel a real need for them, unlike his younger sisters. He absolutely loved Grace and Hailey. They were able to get out of most the royalty stuff at the moment, being only eight and twelve. Actually, Hailey was starting to have to participate in certain things. Doubtless though, they wouldn’t be at this dinner.

Two guards fell onto his sides as he strode towards the dining chamber in the castle. It took him about ten minutes to cross from his quarters to the dining chamber, when he reached the door he indicated for the guards to leave him. They gave a bow and strode off to their next detail. The two guards at the door stood at salute, and with a nod from Trei they pulled open the doors.

The page announced him as he strode into the dining hall. It seemed his parents meant to keep it private, considering only they and Sunste sat at the dark, ivory, table on the dais. His steps made no sound as he walked down the hall to the table. He bowed to his parent and nodded towards the Lord Sunste. He took his seat at the tall, matching ivory chair. His father sat at the head, his mother on the right of him, his seat at his left. The table was short so Sunste had been left the seat at the other end. Trei examined the man that had Zayde and Karillian so scared, being who he was, Trei first noticed his attributes that would make a difference in a fight, skipping over the actual look. He was tall and muscular, looked like the sort that preferred the sword as a weapon, though he did not have one on him, as it isn’t allowed in the presence of Andato royalty. He gave a quick though towards the outward appearance, tan, with matching suns-streaked blonde hair, he wasn’t bad looking. He had blue eyes, strange in a way but not entirely uncommon in Andato.

Done with his examination, all taking place in mere seconds, he turned to his parents and gave a nod, “Hello, father, mother.” “Glad you could join us, Trei. This here,” The king indicated with his large hand to the Lord, “Is Lord Sunste. Came out all the way from Xirra.” The King’s voice echoed in the hall, his deep boom of a voice resonating against the walls. Trei polite as ever, his hard, cold voice came out just like it always did when addressing diplomatic matters; unlike his father he did not have that deep, hearty boom. Instead he had the steely voice that seemed to put people on edge, sometimes scaring them, especially when his eyes flashed the silvery look. “Pleasure to make your acquaintance,” Trei said, and paused before adding, “Lord Sunste. Now, I’m wondering, what would bring a Lord like yourself, from Xirra, all the way out here to Andato?” Trei was baiting him, seeing what his reactions would be. Unsure yet if the Prince and Princess’s enemies were his enemies, he had to make a judgment of this man, and he was honestly curious why he had them running.
