Trei kept his face the same as always, he seriously thought he was apologizing, Trei could only make more fun of him. However Sunste soon turned to the thought he had met the Prince and Princess but Trei had been careful about choosing his words when he spoke of them so they were easily defended. But before he could say something his mother broke in, “Oh no he hasn’t. We were actually hoping he would meet them on his trip but as they’re no longer there,” she was going to continue but Trei interrupted her. “Mother, I can explain for myself,” Trei said turning to look at her for a second, a kind smile on his face and a polite tone to his voice. Turning back to Sunste, “No, I hadn’t met them and now I won’t since the fled their own country. I don’t personally know them, only from my studies. I had assumed as siblings they would be close, as I expect any siblings to be. Having never met them I couldn’t have thought otherwise. If something happened to my own sisters I would do whatever I could for them. It’s disappointing to here that not everyone can have that relationship.” Though Trei’s words were kinder he still had an edge to his voice, nothing differing from before, nothing to tip him off. Thinking of which, Trei didn’t appreciate the comment about how his edge would help him it seemed like a two sided compliment from this guy. He decided he agreed with Karillian, no one could live their life with this guy. | |
