Trei pushed himself upright on his bed. He rubbed the weariness from his eyes and let out a big yawn. Light streamed in from the windows, Trei guessed it was probably half past six in the morning. He slid his feet over the edge of the bed and stood. He stretched a little before he walked, half asleep, to the door. He left his room in search of breakfast, his hunger welling up inside him. Still in his boxers, he made his way out into the hallway, his feet cold against the stone floor. He rubbed his eyes again and was surprised when he ran into someone. He opened his eyes to see it was Karillian. “Oh, hey,” Trei mumbled but had to stop when another big yawn came on. “Katya,” He finished. He realized he was still in his boxers, which wasn’t weird that was how he walked around most mornings but he wasn’t sure if that was inappropriate or something. Whatever, Trei thought to himself, no fixing it now.

Kari looked up at Trei annoyed but dog tired. She took in his sight and then couldn’t help it, she stared up at the ceiling, a hand clasped on her mouth to stop the flow of insults that so could have made her morning. Some-how, Kari managed to keep her pie hole shut but couldn’t stop snickering and laughing silently for a few seconds before she regained herself and looked at Trei in the eye, avoiding looking down for fear of laughing hard again. She realized he was barely awake, but then again, she was only a bit more awake than he was. Not that Trei really noticed any of this; he was barely holding his eyes open. He wasn’t usually like this in the morning and it was having an odd effect on him. He vaguely wondered if he had been drug, but dismissed it as crazy.

“I’m going to the kitchen to get some breakfast, wanna come?” Trei’s words were a little slurred compared to his usually refined speaking. Kari looked in shock at the prince, her instincts kicked in before her mind. "Are you serious? Or just messing with me?" her eyes narrowed. “Huh?” Trei asked, probably sounding dumb, but he was half asleep. He couldn’t figure out why he would kid about breakfast. “I don’t mess around when it comes to meal,” Trei grumbled. He was starting to regret stopping, it was only holding him back from some dippy eggs and bacon.

Kari faced her room, Zay had turned normal again and had slept like a baby for a good two hours now, and she knew he'd be out for another hour at least. Kari barely smiled, but she smiled. "Just let me get out of this, I'm in yesterday's clothes and white, I'm not taking the chance Sunste could recognize me since he's only seen me in white." Kari left Trei to wake up, pulled her shirt off and grabbed a fresh light brown one before grabbing a new pair of black breeches and pulling on her boots again. Kari didn’t bother with her hair, it was just enough okay that it could pass.

Trei just stood outside the door waiting until she came back up. Trei somewhat understood why she wanted to change but it wasn’t like Sunste was in his quarters. She came out in a brown shirt and black breeches. “’Does Z-Demetery want to come?” Trei asked. Karillian shook her head and Trei just shrugged. He continued down the hallway towards the kitchen, this time with Karillian at his side.

They reached the kitchen in silence, not that that bothered Trei. It was warm and welcoming in the kitchen, a hum of conversation from the servers filled the air. “Hello, young Prince,” The head cook called to Trei. “Hey, Cassidy,” Trei called back. The breakfast routine in Trei’s quarters had little formality to it; that started after. “You look especially tired today,” Cassidy said, not looking at him as she focused on the stove. “Long night,” Trei replied simply, “Hey, can you cook up an extra two eggs for Katya?” “Sunnyside Up or Scrambled?” Cassidy asked. Trei raised his eyebrows in question to Karillian. “Scrambled,” She mumbled with weariness. “Scrambled,” Trei said louder so Cassidy could hear. The cook gave a nod and continued, she called to her second in command, “Chaz, get the rolls out of the oven.” The young cook, probably twenty five, hurried to the stone oven and took out a Trei of fresh rolls. He let them cool for a few moments before he placed them in the basket and brought them over to the small, ebony table, which sat four, in the corner. Trei followed him and sat in one of the chairs, he beckoned for Karillian to sit at one of the chairs.

Lili came over with a glass of apple juice, Trei didn’t particularly enjoy coffee, and sat it in front of him. “Would you like anything, miss?” Lili asked Karillian. “Orange juice with cranberry mixed in,” Karillian said, Lili gave a slight look of confusion or shock and hurried away. Trei raised his own eyebrows but didn’t ask.

Lili came back with the drink quickly and set it beside Karillian. Trei picked a roll from the basket and began to eat it. It was warm, soft, and absolutely delicious but only made his stomach ache with hunger more. Soon enough though Cassidy came and set down his dippy eggs and bacon in front of him, with a bowl of fruit to the side just how he liked everything. She went back to the stove and returned with Karillian’s own plate of scrambled eggs and bacon, accompanied with a bowl of fruit as well. “So what are your plans today?” Trei asked Karillian, starting to dig into his breakfast.
