I’ll be out at the wharf for awhile,” Trei replied. “You and Demetrey,” Trei emphasized the name since Karillian seemed to forget just like her brother, and continued, “Are welcome to get some fresh air. However, I wouldn’t suggest wandering far. There are people here you don’t want to meet.” Trei made it seem like a casual comment but he was sure Karilian would get his point. “There is a garden in the back of my quarters though. It is nice and secluded, surrounded by a solid stone wall. You’re welcome to visit there if you want. I’m sure one of my servers could show you.” Trei continued to eat, waiting for Karillian to answer. So far she seemed to be nicest half asleep, but some people were like that. He liked this Karillian better than one always making snide comments that Trei thought just made her look particularly rude and idiotic.
