Kari finished her bacon within a couple seconds, felt like licking her fingers as if she were a child, but subsided for a cloth napkin instead. She took a bite of fruit again, enjoying a sweeter piece than last time’s. “And guests doesn’t really give credit,” Kari looked up and listened to what his schedule would be, and hoped she’d be able to relay it to her brother okay enough. She nodded, looking at the egg in front of her with a mix of want and hate. She liked eggs, but always regretted them after. They left a bad taste in her mouth and always left her feeling over filled. Kari’s eyes flickered to Trei’s roll. Rolls were good, not as good as bacon; nothing’s better than bacon she tacked onto her observation. But rolls were higher up on her breakfast list. Then she watched in fascination as he peeled it into little layers, more like dissected it, and then just ate it as if it were nothing. “Umm…are rolls good like that?” she had to ask, it was just the curiosity part of her. In Caryi, rolls were normally heartier, thicker, and impossible to de-layer as Trei was demonstrating before her. Kari stifled a yawn though, she really needed to catch some kind of sleep today, even if she slept all day and all night, she’d feel a lot better.
