“Oh, um, yeah I guess so. More of a habit for me,” Trei said glancing down at his roll. He hadn’t even thought about it, it was just a habit most people of Andato seemed to have. He drained the rest of his juice and stuck the rest of the roll in his mouth. “I have to go,” Trei said upon finishing the roll. “Have to go get ready,” He continued as he stood up from his seat. “You’re welcome to stay and eat. Demetery can come out and eat as well if her wishes. The cooks can serve you whatever you want,” Trei promised. He gave a courteous nod to Karillian and then left the warm kitchen.

He had to say, that was the most docile Karillian and he had been. There had been really no snide comments or ruthless insults. He crossed through the halls into his room quickly enough. He went to the sink and splashed his face with cold water, which got him fully awake with a start. He cleaned himself up in the bathroom before heading to his closet. He switched his boxers out a chose his outfit for the important day ahead. Wearing Andato’s colors he picked out his most formal pair of black breeches and a fine, gold satin tunic, with Andato’s insignia emblazoned on it.

Returning to the bathroom, Trei spiked the front of his hair in his usual manner and retrieved his crown, which he placed on his head. Trei took a deep breath and looked at himself in the mirror. He seemed presentable. Clean-shaven and well dressed. His mind wandered slightly to want Prince Amir would look like. This, of course, led his thoughts to Princess Hannah.

He had to admit he had a strong curiosity about her. His mother had spoken about her the most out of all the foreign Princesses, Cancri being their closest ally. The paintings her had seen of her did show an incredible beauty, but art could often be deceiving, Trei knew. Trei didn’t necessarily trust his mother’s words either, her being very bias.

Trei was prepared now to go to the docks. He didn’t need to retrieve the steeds they would be using today, as the stable hands would bring them to the dock. The plan was that after the initial meeting at the dock, Trei would take the royal pair on a tour of the city and they would return to the castle for an early dinner with the King and Queen.

Trei gave himself a last look and smoother out his tunic. Satisfied with his appearance, he left his room. He headed out the entry hall, not passing Karillian or Zayde on his way. He gave a nod to the server at the entrance and they held the door as he left. Trei bet that his parents were making sure everything was ready for their guests. So Trei decided to help out and go get Hailey and Grace. He’d make sure they were ready and dressed and then head down to wharf with them.
