Zay's response was quick yet he stayed with his charade, "I'm Demetrey, pleasure." his mind then clicked, he was suprised Hannah couldnt hear it. This was Hannah, as in Princess Hannah of Cancri. Zay sucked in a breath but held his composure of friendlness. His mind started to race and he tried to think of somthing to say that would lead all trails in a safer direction. "So, may I ask what you're reading? They seem like intereseting books, but they'd probably be more interesting, miss, if I could actually see the titles, but naturally only with your request." he was torn inside, besides how his mind was racing how he was in the princess' presence, and recognized her slight accent. He wanted to stay, discover the princess' personality that seemed lax though she was a princess, and that she liked books, though he'd heard she was a warrior like most Cancri women. Then he was torn just to flee and hide himself, this person could betray him within a second. But it's her fleet I'm to ride on Zay reasoned with himself, and noticed how the torches made her hair glint. Uh, stop it! He felt like shaking his head, stupid male reactions. This was Princess Hannah of Cancri, who could potentially be his enemy. Or friend his concience willed. He breathed in, clearing his head, and wondered how much Kari would kill him.
