“Maybe you are a page boy, maybe not,” Hannah said, adding a slight grin so he might take it as a joke, though she was seriously considering it. A page boy wandering around the Prince’s quarters, taking his books as he pleases? And who had ever heard of a page boy who stayed with their master? Certainly not in Cancri they didn’t. It seemed a little unlikely to Hannah, but she decided not to push it. Having already decided that it may not be a good idea to trust the boy, it wasn’t much of a disappointment. She decided she may as well answer his question. “I don’t know him that well, really. I’m just not really a formal kind of person,” Hannah shrugged. “What’s the point of calling him his full name if he’s not here; it just makes it more of a mouthful.” Hannah looked at the boy. She had never told him her own title, yet he seemed as if he knew. Then again he could be speculating. “Just a family friend, though I had never met him before,” Hannah said, trying to see if he would say anything.
