Zayde sucked in a much-needed breath when they arrived out near the wharf without a sign of Sunste's guards or he himself. He walked out calmly despite his slightly shaken mind and looked around, catalogging everything that he had never seen before despite his lies. It was quiet though, not too much hustle since it was night, but there was a cold breeze that felt good against his hot skin. "So, do you like the ocean?" Hannah asked, breaking his momentary connection with nature. It startled him for a second, catching him off guard for no reason, be he went natural. Maybe a truth would ease Hannah into thinking his lies were real also. "Sort of, it's gorgeous, an adventure, nice to swim in and relax at, and a main food source. On the other hand, after a day or two on a boat, I get sick. Though some boats seem to do the trick and my stomach stays sane, most of them I'm over the rail. And when I say most I say two out of the three I've been on." Zay remembered the many times he'd been on a ship with his Father, but after the first couple times getting seasick, they never went out for more than a day at a time before touching land. The thought of Kari laughing at him also came to mind as she sat comfortably in the middle of the boat in the sun. He breathed in deeply, clearing the mist that seemed to have concocted in his mind. Zayde looked up to a lighted ship and heard slight cheers from it all of a sudden. He looked over to Hannah, wondering whether she'd want to go over there, since he assumed ale would be spilled over the decks.
