Hannah could see that Demetrey was really struggling. He almost fell a couple of times, and though Hannah was ready to catch him, he caught himself. He apologized, which Hannah responded to with, “Why should you be sorry? I doubt you chose to be in pain.” Hannah disliked seeing people in pain. It was one thing when it was her, that she could handle. But when other people were in pain and she didn’t know what to do, it made her stomach squirm. It was understandable, considering she had never been in a real battle. Of course she had participated in training where she had to spar others. She gave some nasty bruises, but not often more. Her real talent was with bow and arrows and there wasn’t much you could do besides target practice for that. Hannah hesitated before saying, “Where should I take you? There is sure to be an infirmary around here somewhere that I can get you to.” Hannah looked around as they neared the entrance of Prince Trei’s quarters.
