Kari listened to Trei’s short reply, but she was happy it wasn’t some huge monologue, because the sooner it was over, the sooner she could find her twin and get the heck out of the cramped walls. After staring at them for so long, it seemed like they were closing in on her. And not to mention his comments wouldn’t need a long, thoughtful monologue back from her. “Yeah, I probably should have told you but, like in the woods, you try and act as strong as you can no matter how small and weak you are. Kind of like a kitten when it’s fur fluffs up, if you get what I’m saying.” Kari flipped her thick hair, knowing that it would frizz slightly. “But yeah I’ll come. He said something about your study, but I think my brother is a wuss and is dragging himself somewhere in the direction of here. Still though, I don’t want to risk the whole twin identity, because there are not many of us, especially identical. So that would be an instant tip. I’ll trail behind incase someone has found my to-be miserable even more brother,” Kari shouldered her pack and threw a towel in it, if her brother was sick, he’d probably need it even if it was to dab sweat. “I’m ready when you are,” Kari rolled her shoulders, it felt good, normally she would have been scolded, but now that wouldn’t be the case.
