Trei felt at loss of what to do. He really had no idea to handle the kind of sickness Zayde was undergoing. Phantu bites didn't happen in Andato. Even though the Howlers were closely related, they weren't venemous. There was no treatment for a bite like that in his country.

Zayde looked beyond contact, so Trei couldn't do much there. He decided Karillian would know best. He followed her into the bathroom where she was wetting towels. He grabbed a stack of towels in one of the bathroom cupboards and kneeled down at the bathtub. He turned the water on and began to fill it. "Would it be easier if we just moved Zayde into here, instead of bringing towels?" Trei asked, unsure of the answer. He didn't know which was better.

He started to wet the towels in the water as Karillian had been doing at the sink. He glanced up at her, waiting for an answer.
