Trei had followed her to the bathroom. They’d just left Zayde in that hallway. Uh, Trei you were supposed to stay with him! Maybe bring him inside the room, instead of the hallway where the prince and princess of Cancri use also!? Kari looked up though and saw Trei at odds, and confused on what to do, practically just copying her. Well there’s a first, someone actually copying me, especially him! Kari looked over though and saw he was pouring water into the tub, and didn’t stop him. “Would it be easier if we just moved Zayde into here, instead of bringing towels?” Trei asked, his tone wondering and again confused. Kari instantly felt bad, because she really had no freaking clue. Zayde would probably be able to tell them more than she could, even in his state of mind. “Umm…yeah, you know what yeah. Here…I’ll bring one and then, er…could you just support him? Cause I’m pretty sure he can walk. He managed to get all the way here, didn’t he?” Kari tried to smile, but it was a nervous thing and she bet it was hardly reassuring. She wrung out her wet cloth and followed Trei out the door. What to do? What to do? The words sang again and again through her head, until she thought it would burst. She’d need to figure out what to do, but first then she’d need to figure out what to treat. Okay, okay. He has dizziness, is nauseated, and his…his leg is…uh…burning! Burning, okay…so wet cloth to seep out any venom we can and the ointment to try and numb the leg… Kari looked out into the hallway to find her brother gritting his teeth as he tried, in vain, to pull himself up. “Zayde, quit it. Let us help,” Karillian came up, and grabbed one of his arms.
