Hannah lay in the bed provided by the Kingdom of Andato. Her eyes stared up at the ceiling in front of her, not even a flutter of the eyelids to indicate tiredness. Hannah gave a sigh and turned on her side, her gaze now fixed on the wall.

Hannah gave a groan, “I can’t take this anymore.” She flipped off her sheets and hopped out of bed. She was only in a thin nightgown, and that wouldn’t do to go wandering around the castle in. A dress wouldn’t do either, so she pulled on a pair of black breeched, and a plain white tunic, belting it over her waist. She remained shoeless though as she exited the apartment.

She felt a sudden longing for her Kucing Hutan. She would go race through the forests with him. She sighed at the thought and moved towards the door to Amir’s apartment. She knocked once before entering. Much to her surprise he was up and reading on a sofa. “What now?” He said in an exasperated tone, not looking up from his page. “I couldn’t sleep,” Hannah said, sitting on the arm of the sofa. “I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that you are usually at some party at this time of night.” “Probably,” Hannah said, finding no reason to deny it. “There’s nothing to do here,” Hannah complained. “We will probably do much tomorrow, why don’t you go to sleep for now,” he suggested. “You’re hopeless and no fun,” Hannah said starting for the door. “Just don’t get in any trouble,” Amir said finally glancing up from his book. “I won’t,” Hannah said, but Amir didn’t like the glint he saw in his sister’s amber eyes.
