The man left, gosh he was big. How was the girl so easy around him? Maybe it was the same to others as he was to Fritz or Sharely? Cress blinked with each step the man took away, his near glaring eyes boring into his every second.  

     "So, would you like to see the horses, or no?" the girl asked him. Cress watched then as she walked over to her horses and introduced them. He smiled slightly as the horse responded to the criticism, and Janie was introduced. But he ruled out Jamie, he could tell the difference between Pan and Jamie, Pan was the girl's, Jamie he guessed was the man's. "Uh..." Cress cleared his voice slightly. "Um, sorry, I think you told me but I forgot your name...but Pan's pretty," Cress breathed in deeply, slightly shuddery. What would happen if the girl said no? Would he end up trusting her less? Cress looked behind him, Raven and Fritz were still at the door, but how much longer would they be? The question knocked around in his head until he slid off the wall and ducked around it, so his head poked out on the side. "Miss, are you sure it's alright?" He spoke up, this is was Sharely did, judged on a fly and always stuck with it, no matter how really stupid. Cress straightened up, and stepped from the wall. He felt dirty though, compared to the girl who had cool boots, cleaner pink hair, and a nice not so yellow smile. That somewhat cramped his earlier confidence.
