The mysterious girl wasn't from the Crown, and had basically made fun of the idea that she was from it, meaning she was a foreigner. Even worse. She did say to go right ahead with ripping the sheets and that Trei wouldn't mind. Haha like Trei would be okay with me ripping the sheets even if they were for Zay Kari thought a bit snarkily. She caught the towels that came flying at her from the girl and decided to wait for Trei to come back befoe she ripped them, the less tension the better. Depsite the fact that she didn't like this place or really the host who had offered it, it was as best a position as they would ever be in, probably for the rest of their lives. TAnd for her brother's sake, she wasn't going to ruin it. Kari set the towels to the side and started to wet some when Zayde started to whimper loudly and started to squirm in pain. Kari looked over to the girl scrubbing the wound, reopeneing the scabs, and causing blood to flow and all the blisters to break

"What the Hell do you think you're doing!" Kari screamed, immediately shoving the girl with enough force that she slid a few feet away on the floor. Kari took up a defensive position in front of her twin, her face hard. "I have no freaking clue who you are, and quite frankly I have almsot zero trust in you. Since I am practically the only one besides Trei protecting my brother and who can protect him, I am not letting you lay another painful hand on him even if it was Trei who let you in here. This is a bad situation, and there is no room for any error or mistakes like you." Kari let a cold silence follow for a moment, before she realized what she had just done. This girl was trusted by Trei and she had just screamed violently at her when she was possibly trying to help Zay. This girl could be her brother's chance...and she...she could have just ruined it. They didn't need another enemy especially one as possibly vital as she. Kari let her shock ebb onto her face slightly, "Oh Rah, oh gods I'm so sorry!" She shook her head with the despair she felt. Normally she wasn't one for apologies at all, but this wasn't normal was it? "So many people have just been after us and my brother...oh gods my brother all this is my fault, and then with the looming possibility tha he could die..." she stumbled to find the right words to explain to this girl. This completely random girl she had just yelled at and now wass almost venting to in her attempt to explain. "I'm sorry, I'm just so stressed and high strung and you got to bare the brunt of it. I just have no clue who in the world you are, and now honestly anyone could be trying to cause us harm and you just seem like the perfect profile to." Kari took a deep rbeath to calm herself down, too many emotions for one situation. "I'm still not going to let you touch him though" she shrugged her shoulders, trying not to focus on any particular fear she had at the moment, especially her fear of tears.

A hand clasped on Kari's wrist faintly, but still obviously meant to hold her back while reassuring her. Kari looked back in slight astonishment. "Zayde?" she asked.
